Sunday is over and I have just had two really good ones at a workshop for raku. We worked with crank, from the UK, a very groggy, toothy clay made for raku.
What I like about it is it rawness. It lends itself to earthy, textured designs; raw edges.
Here are the pieces I came away with, from horse hair to salt, to raku glaze and slip. I had a blast!
