Went back to playing with the sodium silicate again. This time I mixed up a batch of slip a la John Britt and added some magnesium dioxide to achieve black.
I wanted to see what would happen if I made a deliberate design brfore I stretched it out. Here they are. One is a big bellied vase amd the other a storage jar. I have something special planned for the lid.
